EcoEnergy Insights wins a Top Project of the Year Award at the 2024 Environment + Energy Leader Awards

EcoEnergy Insights wins a top project of the year award, in the category of Environment Impact, at the 2024 Environment + Energy Leader Awards. This was for our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of the branches of a large private bank in India.

EcoEnergy Insights achieved this feat by leveraging the Internet of Things(IoT) technology and remote support for monitoring equipment. We also enhanced our scope of work by showcasing that we can monitor water consumption for the bank, with minimal additions to the deployed IoT infrastructure.

Since 2016, the project delivered below results:

• Over 5.2 million kWh was saved across the connected 500 branches. The energy savings delivered to the organization is equivalent to the carbon sequestered by 60,934 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.
• Improvement in occupant comfort though better policy adherence.
• Reducing water consumption at a branch using the same IoT infrastructure with additional flow meters, to enable the next phase of reducing negative environmental impact.

The Environment +Energy Award recognizes excellence in products and services that provide companies with energy and environmental benefits and in projects implemented by companies that improve environmental or energy management.
